- This Division shall take charge of the following tasks.
- 1. Things related to general affairs and well-being of the staff members
- a. Planning the management of the supply and demand for the ministry building and operating offices and conference room
- b. Hosting various events
- c. Managing the passes to the ministry building
- d. Investigating into the present conditions of former ministers and vice-ministers and honorary ministers
- e. Training public officials on energy preservation and the provision of kind services
- f. Allotting a vacation time to public servants and improving the quality of their life
- g. Selecting men of merit in the agricultural and forestry sectors for each month
- h. Overseas training for the public servants in charge
- i. Coordinating night watches
- j. Managing leased houses
- k. Managing the workers' associations and the meeting of people with the same interest
- l. Managing and operating the library
- m. Matters which are not covered by other offices and bureaus
- 2. The management of clerical work
- a. Supervising the improvement of administrative works
- b. Supervising the establishment, revision, and operation of the administrative service charter
- c. The management of clerical work including the approval and reporting of the establishment of documentary forms and the examination of cooperative documents
- d. Supervising the handling of civil petitions (excluding the improvement of the civil petition system and civil petitions transmitted by the Office of the President)
- e. Managing official seals and official compilations
- f. Sending and receiving documents
- g. Coordinating security duties
- h. Supervising the disclosing of information
- i. Designating the signs and codes to the recipients of official documents
- j. The management of printed matters
- 3. Accounting
- a. Expending the funds apportioned to general accounts and special accounts??
- b. Collecting tax revenues in general accounts
- c. Managing bonds in general accounts
- d. Appointing and dismissing the public servants for accounting
- e. Expense-incurring actions (project execution expenses including labor cost and subsidies)
- f. Managing the limits of the expenses in general accounts and special accounts
- g. Government's closing of general accounts and special accounts
- h. Previously examining the government's closing of general accounts and special accounts in preparation for the National Assembly
- i. Managing the health insurance
- j. Paying wages and taking care of affairs related to saving and loaning
- k. Taking care of public servants' pension
- l. Collecting tax revenues in special accounts to manage rural special taxes and improve the structure of rural villages, and managing bonds

- a. The conclusion of contracts
- b. Managing goods
- c. Managing national properties
- d. Managing cars
- e. Managing securities and cash as well as tax revenues and annual expenditure
- f. Expense-incurring actions (basic project expenses and research service expenses)

- a. Business cooperation with farmers' bodies
- b. Managing and supporting farmers' bodies
- Audit & Inspection Division
- This Division shall take charge of the following tasks.
- 1. Audit planning
- a. Plan and adjustment of auditing business
- b. The operation of self-auditing organizations
- c. Auditing the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and its member organizations
- d. General affairs in the auditing chief's room
- 2. The prevention of corruption
- a. Establishing, promoting and supervising plans to intensify the discipline of public offices and prevent corruption
- ab. Inspecting the discipline of affiliated organizations and bodies
- ac. Headquarters auditing and daily auditing
- ad. Investigating and treating petitions and irregularities including those presented by other ministries and agencies
- ae. The registration and examination of the properties of public officials, reports on gifts and limits to employment
- 3. Audit 1
- a. Integrating the materials to be audited by the Board of Audit and Inspection and doing liaison businesses
- b. Supervising the work of the auditing information comprehensive system
- c. Auditing local governments, including the government joint auditing
- d. Dealing with the demands made by the Board of Audit and Inspection after its auditing
- e. Auditing the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service and the National Seed Management Office

- a. Auditing the National Veterinary Research and Quarantine Service and the Agricultural Training Institute
- b. Auditing the Korea Racing Association
- c. Auditing the Rural Development Administration and the Forestry Administration
- 5. Audit 3
- a. Auditing the National Plant Quarantine Service
- b. Auditing the Agricultural and Fishery Marketing Corporation
- c. Inspecting the Eulji Practice
- 6. Audit 4
- a. Auditing the corporations established in accordance with the civil law
- b. Dealing with what the minister and/or vice-minister has ordered concerning auditing, including the actual conditions of agricultural and forestry affairs
- c. Supervising and inspecting the actual conditions of civil petitions transmitted by the Office of the President and other civil petitions

- a. Auditing the Korea Agricultural and Rural Infrastructure Corporation
- b. The auditing of agricultural and forestry technology development projects
- c. The control of business trips
