- This Division shall take charge of the following tasks.

- a. Establishing, generalizing, and adjusting major business plans for the agricultural Structure Policy Bureau
- b. The allotment and execution a budget for the agricultural Structure Policy Bureau
- c. affairs in relation to the event of the Farmers' Day
- d. Taking overall charge of the businesses of the Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development
- e. The businesses of the Forestry administration
- f. Businesses related to the industrial policy examination meeting, the industrial accumulation examination meeting, and the energy policy examination meeting
- g. General affairs of the agricultural Structure Policy Bureau and matters which are not covered by other departments

- a. Developing and complementing mid- and long-term policies to improve agricultural structure
- b. arranging and predicting agriculture-related long-term prospect indexes
- c. Supervising the enforcement of the basic law for agriculture and farming villages and the rural villages development special measures law

- e. The development of agricultural policy research subjects and the Korea Rural Economic Institute

- This Division shall take charge of the following tasks.
- 1. The agricultural land management fund
- a. Establishing and operating plans for the agricultural land management fund
- b. Supervising the evaluation of the agricultural land management fund
- c. Operating the council to examine the agricultural land management fund
- d. Operating the Korea agricultural and Rural Infrastructure Corporation, the agricultural land management fund law, and provisions for the agricultural land management fund
- e. Operating the systems related to the expenses to construct agricultural land
- f. The policies to support agricultural promotion regions

- a. Operating the agricultural land law and improving the systems related to the planning of agricultural land policies and taxes
- b. Operating the systems to certify the eligibilities to possess and/or acquire agricultural land including the recognition of the acquisition of agricultural land for test and research purposes

- d. affairs connected to land-related consultations with other ministries and agencies

- a. The working of an agricultural land bank system

- c. The expansion of the participation of female farmers in deciding agricultural and forestry policies

- e. Supporting the expenses to bring up infants and children of farmers
- f. Promoting business cooperation with female farmers' bodies and encouraging the business projects entrusted to private corporations
- 2. The welfare of the women living in farming villages
- a. The welfare of women living in farming villages and their families
- b. The enhancement of the life quality of female farmers including a farm households support system
- c. Supervising the businesses which are to be accomplished through the cooperation of farmers, consumers' bodies and the government
